rough Start |

After getting the TV set up and figuring out how to use it, we enjoyed 2 nights of watching high def tv, then the screen went dark. The company I was directed to for service could not come for a week. We decided to haul it ourselves to another authorized service center. We had to pick it up and then set it up again. It was a bit discouraging, hope it's not the beginning of a trend. It looks great....for today... |

Quality 2nd TV |
I picked up this TV for my bedroom, so it is not my primary TV. I have only had it a month, but all is well. Very clear picture for HD channels and surprisingly good picture on the non-HD channels. I also like the feature that automatically spreads non-HD channels across the entire TV vs. having the black bars on the side. Definitely a good price for quality TV. Hopefully it will hold up for the long haul, but given that it is a Samsung, my guess is that it should hold up (hopefully I didn't just jinx myself).

I work at Bestbuy so I asked everyone I knew there what is the best brand for a television. 100% agreed that Samsung is the A+ brand. TV's aren't cheap, so if I'm gonna spend all this money, I want the best and that's Samsung. The tv arrived with the stand already built, so that was nice. Then after attaching the tv to the stand I got set-up with adding my new blu-ray player and HD DVR with two HDMI cables. This is the best picture quality every!!! There is no way I could be happier, I love this TV! |
